NDSJC Terms & Conditions

Disclaimer of Liability:
  • The organising Committee of the NDSJC Inc and the landowners does not accept any responsibility for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons on the property whatsoever.
  • It shall be a condition of entry that each nominator hold the Club blameless and shall indemnify it against any legal proceedings arising from any such incident.
  • Horses and Riders compete at their own risk.
EA Waiver/Disclaimer:
  • If for any reason the disclaimer on the entry form is not signed (in case of junior signed by a
    legal guardian as well) you will not be permitted to start.
  • Please note Showjumping is a dangerous sport and could lead to bodily injuries.
If you are not a member of the EA or the NDSJC Inc you are not permitted to start in any Class.

General Conditions
  • Visiting Children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • All Affiliated Events run under FEI & EA Rules for Showjumping.
  • Any horse not ready to jump when called may be Eliminated.
  • In the Event of there being 5 or less Competitors in a Class, the Committee has the discretion to run the Event as a Sweepstake.
  • Correct riding attire is necessary.
  • Approved standard hats with harness must be worn when on horseback.
  • The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Entry, or vary the conditions of any Class, or cancel, or add any Event without reason.
  • Refunds:  A refund will apply of 75% of the total of your entry fees received, only upon receipt of a Veterinary or Doctors Certificate.
  • In the case of the temperature reaching over 36 degrees Celsius as advertised on the Channel 9 6.00pm News the Friday before the event, it will be cancelled.  This is in line with EA & FEI rules.
  • Any objection or Protests must be made in writing, signed and must be handed to the Secretary with a deposit of $20.00 within 15 minutes of the judging of any Event or Class.
  • The Ground Jury shall determine the objection and their decision will be final.  If the decision goes against the objector, he/she will forfeit the $20.00 deposit and be liable for any expenses occasioned by the objection.
  • The Committee accepts no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, any exhibit, person or equipment.
  • The Committee has the right to put in place of prize money, vouchers or produce if the need arises.
