NDSJC 2011 End-of-Year Break-up

It’s always great to relax with Committee Members and their family to end a successful Show year. It is also an opportunity to thank those who have helped us during the year in any way. That’s exactly what we did recently as guests at Leanne, Richard, Nicole & Will Bruggemann’s home who were great hosts indeed.
But the evening started with a Working Bee to paint the great new fill the Club has purchased recently. See it at our February Show!

National Jumping Rules Update effective 1st January 2012

Please be aware that the National Jumping Rules were updated effective 1st January 2012.

MJET Series is back in 2012!

17/1/12 – IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE FOR SA SHOW JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND – Please be advised as follows:

“The Equestrian South Australia Show Jumping Committee would like to advise all interested persons this Event will be held on 30th, 31st March and 1st April at the Strathalbyn Polo Grounds.

The Committee has finalised the Schedule and are in the process of finalising Sponsors before circulating the Program later this month.

The Schedule of 22 Classes includes Teams Events for Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors, Speed Championships for both Senior and Junior Riders, John Bruggemann Senior Grand Prix, Monalita Junior Grand Prix in addition to the State Championships for Juniors, Young Riders and Seniors.

It is anticipated the State Championships, Mt Gambier Easter Festival and the Kulpura Championships will provide prize money in excess of $60,000 over the three weekends, ten days of show jumping.

There are other events either side of these weekends, details available on the ESA Show Jumping web page.

We are currently working our way through all the documentation for NDSJC going right back to the original Minutes of the very first meeting called to discuss forming a Show Jumping Club in the Northern area. We are sure you’ll find what we add in this Folder really interesting and by clicking here you will see the Minutes of that Meeting. How interesting also to see people from that meeting still heavily involved within the Show Jumping world. We thank them for their vision and setting the stepping stones to pave the way to form what we are today.

This is the latest addition to our Archive Page. Click here to read a Newsletter dated July 1998. Once again, some very familiar names appear!
